Unique Wedding Day Moments Created By Party Time Productions

These are fun little games that can be played to entertain your guests during the cocktail hour, the dinner hour and/or prior to the beginning of the dance portion of the night. These games are included only with the "A Wedding to Remember" Wedding package.

The Newlywed Game

Like the TV Game show of the 70's Married couples will compete by answering questions about their relationship to win the prize.

Playing the game:
This game involves the Bride and Groom along with both sets of their parents.

  • Three sets of two chairs facing back to back will be placed out on the dance floor in a row approximately two feet apart from each other and three feet apart from the next row of chairs.
  • In the center set of chairs the Bride and groom will sit with their backs to one another. The parents of the Bride and Groom will also sit back to back with one another (coupled up) with all the men sitting on one side of the imaginary separation line and the ladies on the other.
  • The couples will take off both of their shoes and hand one of their shoes to their spouse. Each contestant will have one of their shoes in their hands and one of their spouse's shoes in their hands.
  • I will then begin the ask fun questions about their relationship to which each contestant will raise the shoe of the person in their marriage that best represents the answer to the question. (Men's shoe for the husband, Ladies shoe for the wife.)
  • One point will be awarded to the couples who can match the answer to the question correctly.

Winning the game:
The couple who earns the most points by matching their answers will be declared the winner and win the prize.

The Bride vs. The Grooms Family Feud

In the spirit of the TV game show Family Feud, two teams of five family members will compete for prizes.

Playing the game:
Two teams of five family members (The Bride and her family vs. the Groom and his family) will answers questions to challenge one another for the prize.

  • Each team will line up on their side of the podium.
  • A question will then be asked and the first person to buzz in will attempt to answer the question.
  • One point is awarded for a correct answer; one point is subtracted for an incorrect answer.

Winning the game:
The first team to reach nine points wins the game!

"Who's the Man?"

"Who's the Man" is a memorable, fun and very entertaining game to play and pull a fast one on the Best Man. This game normally takes place during the dance portion of your evening.

The premise is that all of the groomsmen would place a numbered paper bag over their heads and have a dance contest.

Your guests would rate the dancing ability of each individual by cheering for the dancer with the specific number when called out. One by one the dancers will be eliminated from the contest. The last dancer on the floor will be declared the winner.

The hilariously funny part of this is that immediately after the start of the contest all the groomsmen will be secretly signaled to take their paper bags off and leave the dance floor. The
Best Man is unaware of this and unwittingly dances through the entire contest by himself.

Obviously there are a number of people involved in the joke but it will be funny and your guests will love it.

Child's First Name Game

This is a fun event for the reception and helps to fill idle time during dinner. Provided index cards and pens are available on all the tables with instructions to help the bride and groom select their child's first name. During dinner I will collect and read some of the baby name suggestions to you and your guests. There is no limit to ones imagination making this game pretty humorous at times.

Marriage Advice

Provided index cards and pens are placed at each guest table. Guests will be instructed to come up with the best marriage advice they can give to the newlyweds. Throughout the Dinner hour I will collect and read one of the suggestions to you and your guests. There is no limit to ones imagination making this game pretty humorous at times. You can even give awards for funniest and/or best advice.

Center Piece Give-Away

Similar to the hot potato game of your childhood, the table centerpieces can be given away using a variation of this game.

At each table, I will have your guests pass around an object like a dollar bill while a song plays, when the music stops something happens. Maybe the person holding the object will be eliminated, or possibly the person to their left. Maybe they get to choose a person to be eliminated or they might get to keep the dollar. Put to music with the song "You Can't Touch This" it will be a fun activity for all of your guests.

*** All Prizes awarded will be supplied to Party Time Productions by the Bridal Couple employing PTP for The Purpose of the games ***

We look forward to musically pleasing you.
